Vehicle Rain Test Chamber

This test chamber checks whether the vehicle body, doors, windows, and sunroof are properly assembled, whether the sealing performance is reliable, and whether the installation method is correct. It is primarily used to test the rainproof and sealing performance of various types of buses and vans.

    Considering that the width and length of the entire vehicle must be within the rain test range, the left, right, and rear sliding spray brackets are used to meet the test requirements.

    Rain Intensity

    Nozzle orifice diameter 1.0mm; rainfall intensity of the five spray surfaces (top, left, right, and bottom) can reach 1-4 mm/min;

    Nozzle orifice diameter 2.0mm; rainfall intensity of the five spray surfaces (top, left, right, and bottom) can reach 3-5-8 mm/min.

    Rain Shower

    It consists of a water pump, an automatic pressure regulating valve, a water pressure gauge (or water pressure sensor), a main pipeline, branch pipelines, a flow meter (or flow sensor), a flow regulating valve, a nozzle, a nozzle support, a nozzle support moving system, and an electrical control system.

    Sprinkler System

    The main pipeline and branch pipelines are made of stainless steel. Butterfly valves are used for control, and a Y-type filter is installed at the water inlet. Pressure gauges and flow meters are installed in the pipeline to ensure normal equipment operation. The branch pipelines are evenly spaced to ensure uniform rainfall within the rain-fed section.

    Control System

    I. Manual Control: Operated by individual buttons (e.g., manual spray switch, water filler switch). This can be used as an emergency measure in case of automatic control system failure, allowing manual start of the spray system and manual adjustment of the flow rate.

    II. Automatic Control: After setting the operating parameters, rainfall and A/B zone related settings, input the vehicle model, and press the touch key for each parameter. A numeric input keypad will pop up, allowing you to set the desired parameters according to the actual situation.

    Water Pump Control

    The water pump uses a variable frequency drive (VFD) start system to control the flow rate. If the water pump stops due to a malfunction during the spraying process, the backup water pump is manually switched on.

    Illumination

    The shower room is equipped with moisture-proof and waterproof lighting on its side, AC220 50HZ 80W, with a moisture-proof glass cover. Illuminance ≥300Lux.

    Power Supply Conditions and Power Source

    AC380V±10%, 50HZ, three-phase five-wire, and requires a pneumatic switch with leakage protection.
